Balancing a career in science with raising a family
In this session, I shall first describe my own career, and how I have managed to combine a career in science with marriage, motherhood, widowhood and remarriage. I shall touch on a few other gender-related issues, and offer advice and strategies for success. Finally I shall mention a few useful resources. Following this talk, we shall have a Q&A session where participants can discuss the issues raised.
