Welcome to q-bio!
The q-bio Summer School (2007-2019) and the UQ-bio Summer School (2020-2024) were annual events intended to help undergraduate graduate students acquire essential skills to advance predictive modeling of cellular regulatory systems.
Although we no longer have funding to support the q-bio program, most of lectures and tutorials were recorded, and we have a vast trove of prepared Python Notebooks and Homework problem sets from previous years covering topics of: (1) Python Computing, (2) Bioinformatics, (3) Statistics and Machine Learning, (4) Image Processing, (5) Modeling of Biological Systems, and (6) Bayesian Inference and MCMC.
The 2024 UQ-Bio Summer School recordings are available at: https://q-bio.org/wp/uq-bio-schedule-2024/. Recordings from previous programs can be reached using the menu at the top right.
To gain access to the final course materials and to participate in the UQ-Bio At Home Course, please register at https://forms.gle/TjiRAfNbcq2ZeHbPA. Upon registration, you will be provided with a link to an extensive set of course materials (24 detailed Python Tutorial Notebooks and 7 auto-graded homework problem sets).
Please contact us at brian.munsky@colostate.edu if you have questions, corrections, or if you would like to re-use the provided materials for other purposes.
